Job-Site Analysis/Job Descriptions
Job-site analyses are performed to help develop accurate job descriptions (outline functional tasks that are required of each employee or potential employee) and also to identify issues within a specific position. Once a work area is identified, an Excel Physical Therapist will go out to visit the job site. Incumbent workers will be utilized to fill out a brief survey of their job and the physical requirements performed on a regular basis. The therapist will then review the physical demands of the position including material handling frequency, weights, forces, heights and the frequency of non-material handling activities. Reporting will be provided within the format established for job descriptions at your facility. Risk hazard analysis may be included in a job site visit if requested to address specific issues.
